Our Development is located near the North Carolina/Virginia border in Alleghany County North Carolina. It is just off Mile Marker 220 of the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway at an elevation of 2805 feet.. This area is known as Fox Hunters Paradise due to the area being prime land for fox hunters in the early years.The hunters would let their hounds loose into valley and listen to their barks and howls from atop the mountain They were more entertained by the sounds  of the hounds than the fox hunt itself.
